    Pleasant stay and very convenient

Liked: The hotel is very close to The Alhambra so ideal if visiting. Lovely entrance and bar area with fabulous views over Granada.

Disliked: We felt the hotel was more of a 4*. The beds were very hard and uncomfortable. There was shampoo, shower gel, body lotion but no conditioner which you would usually get in a 5* hotel. No turn down service in the rooms at night and the towels and bedding in our room were frayed and old. Breakfast was good however you had to get coffee from a machine, evening meal wasn’t great. Bar staff were lovely but reception staff were not particularly welcoming when we arrived. There is no pool or outside seating area that we could find. The hotel is very expensive for what we felt we got. We had been travelling around the Costa del Sol staying in other 5* hotels but this didn’t have such good facilities for the money we paid.

Palace like experience in a gorgeous location

Liked: It is a beautiful historic hotel which in itself is a masterpiece. The views are gorgeous, the room is good size with comfortable beds and palace-like design. The breakfast is exceptional with many options for any dietary needs. The location is also good, 10min walk to the city and 10 minute walk to the gorgeous Alhambra complex (hills included), which you can actually partially see from the corridor windows of the hotel. The staff is very nice too.

Disliked: It could be great to have spa and massages place in the hotel as well a bit more developed gym, but at least fitness area is there. There is no pool which again, would be a great addition to this stunning property.
