A wonderful stay in a cave house

Liked: The property is very unique, being a cave house. If you stay it must be for the quirkiness and the beauty of the area, do not expect a luxury hotel with luxury facilities. We arrived during heavy rain and, the next morning, it was minus 4 with a covering of snow but the house was really cozy and warm with the air conditioning unit in the open plane lounge, dining and kitchen and an electric heater in the bedroom. The bed was huge, extremely comfortable and had lovely, crisp sheets. We enjoyed the cold buffet breakfast. We were able to park immediately outside our house so no long treks with bags. The staff were excellent. It was excellent value for money and we would definitely stay again.

Disliked: There is nothing to not like as long as you are not looking for luxury, we loved it.

    A different place to stay!

Liked: This lovely quirky rustic cave was a great place to stay. It’s not like anywhere else we have stayed. It was spacious, clean and warm. (We were there in December)The property itself is very nice to walk around. We definitely recommend!

Disliked: It would be lovely to be there in Summer when the cave house would be cool and you could use the swimming pool. We liked everything about the property itself.

Liked: Loved the fire place and the idea of the rooms buried in the side of a cliff. Very quiet and warm, cozy little place to stay and felt relaxed. Beautiful view of surroundings

Disliked: A little dated inside and a very small tv. Same for the sink amd stove but everything worked well and usable.

A unique and rustic stay, but sadly the cave didn’t match the photos

Liked: While the concept is definitely unique and different from typical hotels, the execution didn’t meet our expectations.

Disliked: During our trip to Spain, we stayed in several places, and unfortunately, this cave accommodation was the biggest disappointment. I booked it because the photos made it look unique and stylish, but the reality didn’t match the expectations. Our cave was nothing like the nicer ones shown online — the furniture was old and uncomfortable, beds were not the best, and the sofa in the living room creaked loudly every time someone moved. I requested a cave with 1 double bed and 2 single beds, but we were given one with four single beds. One of the bedrooms didn’t have a bedside lamp, only a very bright ceiling light. The kitchen felt outdated and slightly unclean. Sadly, the photos looked much better than what we actually experienced.
