Liked: .The Apartment was very close to the pool. Spotlessly clean, comfortable, and had everything you needed to hand.
Disliked: There wasn't anything to dislike.
Peaceful apartment, reasonable location if you had access to a car
Liked: Good location to access lots of activities. Pool was adequate but no sunbeds and little facilities offered for the pool area. Kitchen well stocked with equipment. Nothing mentioned about the three flights of stairs in description, luckily we were not physically challenged.
Disliked: Lack of information in the apartment regarding local hospitals or medical facilities. No other information regarding local supermarkets, bars etc. The wifi information was not adequate. Lots of extension leads and sockets that did not work.
Liked: Mix up with booking...no one there with keys...Booking.com cock up...had to contact owner direct who sorted it out... Company not much use...
Host threatened to no let me in to the apartment due to my bus being delayed and made me pay €30
Liked: The balcony was lovely and the area was quite.
Disliked: The host was rude and threatened to not let me in the property due to missing my bus and my check-in time being delayed. Check-in is till 8:30pm and I arrived 8:15pm but the host was frustrated that I changed the time and threatened me even though I arrived during the times that was stated on the website. I convinced her to let me in by agreeing to pay an illegal and informal payment of €30. I paid it to avoid not having a place to stay for the night as I was alone and in a foreign country. This set my holiday up on a bad vibe and it felt less welcoming to stay in the home of someone who was rude and threatened me. I’ll be making a formal complaint to booking.com. Additionally, the wall length window on the entrance stairs is not locked so safety is jeopardised. It was broken and this wasn’t mentioned on the website. Also, there was no toilet paper and I had to buy my own which is not proper when you book a home for holiday - the bare minimum requirement is toilet paper. The bedroom has no proper window and as a summer house that is a big set back as fresh air and day light doesn’t enter the bedroom. I ended up sleeping on the sofa bed in the living room which was hard and uncomfortable. Felt like I was a guest in the home I paid the full price for. The home was filled was aggressive notes like ‘if you loose the key for the pool you will have to pay €200’ - it felt like the hosts were finding every reason to fine and exploit the customers. Not a good vibe. The beach is a 35-40 minute walk from the home which is slightly annoying as it’s a summer house and there isn’t much else going on around. Unless you have a car it’s long. The pool has no shezlong, just tiles and no lounge opportunity which is a setback, I never used it, it didn’t look inviting at all. Overall will not recommend. Hosts for holiday homes represent the hospitality for the country and this host was rude and aggressive. I will not recommend.
Well equipped and located apartment
Liked: Well equipped. Good apartment near to shops, main roads etc.
Disliked: Bed quite uncomfortable and would benefit from warmer bedding.
