Exceptional
This is a very comfortable, large apartment with every comfort in a quaint little village
Liked: The apartment was spacious and comfortable. The rooms had all necessities. The village of Briones is charming.
Disliked: While the village is quaint, it is a very steep walk up into the town, but that does not detract from the apartment.
We enjoyed our time at Los Nietos and in the Rioja region
Liked: Location was excellent with beautiful views.
Disliked: Some basic items would have been appreciated - salt and pepper, coffee maker, corkscrew, soap,etc., specially since there was little opportunity to find these things in the village
Very nice apartment in Briones which is a great location for touring the Rioja region
Liked: Carmen was there to greet us and hand over the keys. All very simple. We stayed in - the apartment for a week. It was clean, comfortable and had all the facilities we needed for 2 of us. We cooked in most nights. We had an outside sitting area where we ate and the pool was close by. We were generally the only users of the pool. The underground parking was really useful as the weather was very hot. Briones is a charming village with some nightlife and a few shops. Halo is nearby with supermarkets. There is a lot to do in the area - we visited Pamplona, Vitoria, San Sebastian, Logrono and others.
Disliked: Nothing really. It suited our needs very well
Staying in the Rioja tasting wines and visiting medieval villages was a great experience!
Liked: The hosts were so friendly and helpful. The apartment was spacious, clean and well furnished. The views of the Rioja from our apartment were beautiful The parking was so convenient and secure. They also have a restaurant where we had a very nice meal.
Disliked: We liked everything.
