  Wonderful location with a fantastic pool!

  Liked: What a fantastic base for exploring the La Rioja wine region. This house is very spacious, well laid out and has a fantastic pool. We couldn't have been happier. It additionally also had a perfect view from the top floor of the Total Solar Eclipse. The house is also about a 20 minute walk to the main wine farms in the area, so you don't have to worry about getting tipsy and having to drive home.

  Disliked: It could do with a couple of portable air conditioner units. When we were there, it was 37 degrees celsius (99F). As all the bedrooms are on the same floor, you can't really keep your bedroom door open to create a breeze, so it was quite difficult at night time. Given the shutters on the windows, portable air con units with an exhaust pipe would work very well. Obviously the weather isn't always this hot, but as the summers are getting hotter and longer in Europe, it may be something to invest in.

  We had a great time and would certainly recommend it to others

  Liked: Everything we wanted in a great location. It felt like home to us! We appreciated the owner trusting us with their possessions and “objets d’art”

  Disliked: Tiled area between the pool & patio needs some work to avoid tripping hazards. Also, being Irish, we would have liked a kettle;-)
