  Liked: Good location with parking (hard to find in Jaen). Great for walking the dog and local supermarkets, bars and bakeries within 5min walk. About 30 min walk into centre of Jaen. Good size flat with decent size bedrooms and bathrooms. Balcony with view over the park but faces north west so no sun in December.

  Disliked: Kitchen not very well equipped - needs more crockery, cutlery and cooking utensils including large frying pan and sharp knives. Oven and hob a bit tired - coming to end of life. Estate Agent did send someone to fix lights that were not working but otherwise very hands off and didn't meet anyone. Hot water heater was leaking for our entire stay - needed a bowl to stop utility room flooding and emptying most days.

  Acceptable stay for one or two nights

  Liked: Beds were comfortable, washing machine available for use, AC, parking available.

  Disliked: Parking lot very difficult to manoeuvre by North American standards, although this is common in European nations.Location was rather isolating. No services nearby. Access to apartment required two elevators and a bit of walking. We were not welcomed in person; everything completed by phone call.

  Superb

  Liked: Lovely apartment much better than we expected

  Disliked: Check in was difficult as we are not spanish speakers and could not communicate very well as was done by mobile. Also key fob for underground parking did not work properly. Not big problem though as lots of on street parking
