Exceptional
Liked: Lovely hotel in two parts. The traditional area with rooms around an internal courtyard (this is where breakfast is served) and a more modern wing, which is where we had our very comfy room. We were delighted to find there was a fridge!
The heart of Andalusia for Jerez, Caballos, Flamengo & Circuito de velocidad
Liked: Hotel is in a lovely square pretty much in the centre of the historic centre of town, so very accessible for walking to the cathedral, Alcázar, shops, restaurants & bars. The lovely old building very nicely presented

Great location
Liked: Lovely staff. Good breakfast options, including scrambled egg and bacon! Interesting and attractive interior. Lovely rooftop area which we only found on the day we were leaving. Great location for the Cathedral and Alcaraz on foot. Local tapas places were good too. Excellent large walk in shower. Would recommend
Disliked: Hadn't realised our room only had a window to the enclosed internal. It wasn't a problem though. Only 3 coat hangers. Limited storage. We didn't unpack, so not really an issue.
Ideal city break hotel
Liked: Great city centre location and ideal base for sightseeing
Disliked: Ground floor Room had no external windows other than those opening onto glazed roof central courtyard which was used for breakfasts.

Liked: Beautiful hotel. Good breakfast
Disliked: Only slight problem was flat Pillows needed to ask for more, which we got.
Great staff and shower, but the rooms would benefit from better maintenance and attention to detail
Liked: The staff were very accommodating. Two of our group had reason to change rooms during the stay and the staff were very helpful. The shower was fabulous with lots of hot water.
Disliked: There's just a few small things that would elevate the stay. When we first arrived, we were kept waiting to be admitted to the hotel as the door is kept locked. The first room I stayed in smelled really strongly of damp and so I moved room. The room I moved to overlooked the square and had natural light which I appreciate but the bathroom door wouldn't close without a struggle, the toilet roll holder was broken, the sink unit had previously been cracked and was 'mended' using silicone filler which looked grubby and the water drained away very slowly in the basin.
