Exceptional
very well appointed apartment, only an hour from Estepona but a world away from the Costa del Sol
Liked: Once you arrive, the village and the accommodation are lovely. Artwork and street art has something for everyone. Easy free parking by the museum. Accommodation well appointed with everything you could ask for. Beds comfortable. Host was helpful and quick to respond. View from the top patio is stunning. Great trekking if you're fit.
Disliked: NOT A CRITICISM OF THE PROPERTY, JUST SOME THINGS TO BE AWARE OF BEFORE ARRIVAL: Allow extra time on your journey for winding roads and landslips On four floors so probably not suitable for guests with accessibility issues Visiting out of season there was only one restaurant open but the menu had good daily options. Breakfast opening times were a little random. The Coviran shop stocked most things but top tip: buy things when you see them... by Friday they had run out of bread and eggs
Beautiful mountain casa in a stunning setting!
Liked: The views! The incredible attention to detail the owner has put into making this a beautiful home! There are many thoughtful and practical touches in this amazing house. Lovely barbecue, full set of tools, plus 2 x kitchens well fitted out on both the ground and third (top) floors. Gorgeous roof terrace, complete with fairy lights! Comfy bed, attractive furniture. Excellent bathroom. Very helpful and communicative owner. Thank you!
Disliked: Sadly, the municipal pool closed at the beginning of September, which was disappointing 😞. Two sunbeds would have been great! Of note is that this property is at the heart of Spanish life and has very close neighbours. All of whom are very friendly!
Liked: We really liked the house, it was cozy, clean and with all the necessary things. It is very convenient that the terrace has its own kitchen. The view is gorgeous and the location is central. Thank you for the opportunity to live in such a beautiful place
Fabulous Genalguacil house with superb terrace
Liked: Lovely house with fabulous double roof terrace, one under cover and one open. Full kitchen is 3 steep flights of stairs below but terrace has second well equipped kitchen with single induction hob, sink fridge etc. We cooked 3 meals up there easily. Bathroom is one steep flight down from double bedroom (2 from terrace) and on same level as twin bedroom. One of the best houses we have stayed in after 10 years of pueblos blancos holidays.
Disliked: Nothing. But be aware of limited or no opening of restaurants on Mon Tues Wed.
