  Disliked: When we contacted the owner before check-in, we asked if we could check in earlier at 12 noon, which they refused and agreed to without arguing. Then, at 3:00 PM, we received a text message saying we could check in, even though check-in was at 5:00 PM. We checked into the apartment at 4:00 PM and were horrified by the dirt. Our white socks turned black after just a few steps on the floor. The bathroom was terribly dirty and moldy. The mirror had toothpaste stains on it, and the towels smelled and left lint on our bodies. It was also very noisy there from the motorcycles and it was impossible to sleep. I took a few photos and sent them to the owner on WhatsApp, but they accused us of asking for an early check-in and that the cleaner was in a hurry. They offered to clean the apartment the next day if we took our valuables and left, but I refused because I didn't want anyone else in the apartment while we were gone. Let me remind you that we simply asked about this option and, after being refused, agreed to check in at 5:00 PM. We in no way agreed to an early check-in in exchange for a dirty apartment. Also, after I requested a refund from Booking, I received a refusal from the apartment owner, claiming that we were being picky about everything because we most likely wanted to go to another city for a party and the beaches, and that Booking should expect a bad review from us. I am terribly outraged by these accusations. I did not insult her and merely pointed out the problem. I strongly urge the owner to change her attitude towards guests and not blame them for her misdeeds, and to check the cleaners' work before the guests move in.

  Liked: The lodgings are located right next to the highway, which is a plus. Besides, there are just a few minutes away from the airport. Parking is very easy in the neighborhood, something I really appreciate when booking a car. The owner is very welcoming and attentive, and the check-in (keys from a lock box) comes in handy if you travel late at night. If I had to book an apartment for two people again, I wouldn’t hesitate.

  Disliked: There are a couple of minor things that need fixing in the toilet, but apart from that, all good.
