Fabulous
Liked: We had the large attic room with a very comfortable bed. Nice sofa and cushions made for a comfortable tv night. Good communication with the host. Nice garden area.
Disliked: The shower was a bit tight in the roof angle. The room was quite dark, the lighting was more mood than practical. Kitchen appliances had to be unplugged due to lack of sockets.
Nice and convenient, but slightly overpriced
Liked: Nicely restored country house with a scenic view towards the Anaga Mountains. Common areas were well maintained. Convenient location for exploring the Anagas.
Disliked: Casa Justa was decent enough, but our loft suite felt a bit overpriced, especially given that the seasonal weather (wet and cold) made the swimming pool and garden pretty much useless. The location is convenient for exploring the Anaga area, but Tegueste itself had little to offer us and despite Casa Justa being off the beaten path it didn’t feel particularly peaceful or secluded. As we were traveling with a small baby it was also inconvenient staying in the loft suite. We also felt the kitchen could’ve been better equipped.
Liked: I am grateful to stay there, even though I was ill. I am happy to be able to find myself in the casa Justa. It help me recovery and get back to my family healty aftherward.
Great views, great location, great stay!
Liked: Loved the location, the views from the deck were fantastic, and we were in easy access to the whole of the island. There was plenty of room in our apartment and the amenities were perfect.
Disliked: The only thing that we struggled with was driving out of the apartment. It often involved reversing out, which we got used to, but we made the mistake of trying to leave one morning during school drop off and had to do some very tricky maneuvering through tight gaps where parents had parked both sides of the road and it was only a one way road due to the number of parked cars. Nothing negative about the apartment, but something to be aware of when making your plans for the day!
Superb
Overall, a wonderful place to stay
Liked: Beautiful surroundings on the edge of town in one direction & the verdant hills in the other. The garden was spacious & full of exotic trees & bushes.
Disliked: Although the view out of the windows was gorgeous it was through an old screen & bars over the windows. They were also lower than head level so you had to stoop to see the view. But that's how the house was built. I was getting a back ache every morning from the soft-top mattress. I'm used to a very firm mattress. So about half way through my stay I turned the mattress upside-down when I found the other side was firmer. Coming back in the dark a couple of days it was hard to see the lock to insert the key in the reception door. After a few days I noticed a circuit breaker panel inside behind the door & saw that a breaker was tripped. I reset it & a fluorescent lamp outside turned on, solving that problem. A couple of minor things, just a suggestion for the owner.... It would have been useful to have a dish towel in the kitchen & a box or two of tissues. Also one of the bedside lamps did not work.
