Fabulous
A disappointment!
Liked: location was pretty good, the room was clean, the balcony was nice
Disliked: First of all the bed was very uncomfortable. It was squeaking very load! Second, the receptionist was not polite nor welcoming at all. Instead of welcoming guests with a smile, the guy was looking at us with a flat face saying nothing. He didn´t do any effort to help with any request either. At check in, there is no spot close to the hotel to stop the car for a few minutes to unload the bags. There is only a loading an unloading spot in front of a bank closeby related to the bank and the shops arount, which hotel guests are not officially alowed to stop! When we stoped and unloaded quickly and asked for parking direction (which we had reserved in advance), so that we can leave the spot ASAP and park the car first before checking in, the guy insisted that we need to pay for the parking right away and otherwise he cannot let us in the parking! That means one runs the risk of getting fined by the police, etc. Despite we had paid for the room and we told that we will pay for the parking at check-in, he refused to let us in the parking! Equally at checkout when we asked if we can pick up the car just a couple of hours later, he refused flatly (not even in a nice apologetic manner), despite the parking was almost empty and their check-in would not have started before 3 pm! Third: I don´t know which genious came with the idea to install automatic lights at the enterance of the room. When one wants to go to the restroom in the midnight, the whole room illuminates suddenly and the other person also gets up!

Liked: Food and coffee were very good.
Disliked: Communication between office/hotel could have been better. There were several events that had been cancelled but we were not informed, was told the info was all on the Web, what has happened with the folder with all the info re the hotel in it????
Sewage smell
Liked: Perfect location.
Disliked: Strong sewage smell every morning. Spoke to reception multiple times but the problem was never rectified
Liked: Location and pool was great
Disliked: The smell of drains, strange staff, aircon not great.
Liked: Hotel was very clean. The bar staff were extremely friendly. Daniel on reception was very helpful explaining the issues with the air conditioning. I would highly recommend this lovely hotel.
