Bathroom - where not enough room to swing a cat comes from
Liked: Great location to see the roman bridge and pretty village. Hotel is a 1915 with many quaint features.
Disliked: Some non refurbished room bathrooms are confined/small - seen more space in a delivery box for a bathroom suite. Layout due to original refit from communal bathrooms. Spa packaged superior rooms have a refurbished more modern bathroom. Smoking outside entrance off putting as smoke enters via the window - open as rooms not air conditioned.
Interesting hotel for the night
Liked: Possibly an old sanatorium now a spa hotel. Handy for the ferry the next day, nice grounds but rooms slightly dated
I didn’t use the thermal department, it was just a one night stop over. Only 20mins drive from Santander airport which
Liked: Very dog friendly and staff friendly
Disliked: Short staffed at reception and restaurant. Long waits
Liked: The outside grounds (green area) and proximity to Liérganes village was nice.
Disliked: Breakfast was disappointing - very little on offer. Interior decor was in poor repair, tired and run-down. No fridge in the room. Interior pool / hot tubs not available for use during our stay.
