  Disliked: Unfortunately, this house was a huge disappointment. We booked for 6 people, but the accommodation was only suitable for 4. The listing advertised a sofa bed, but it was just a dirty, uncomfortable sofa that was not suitable for sleeping. There were no bedsheets available for the sofa, and the lady initially told me to get them from the shed, which was in a terrible condition. She eventually brought us some. The house looked completely different from the photos. It was very old, dirty, and uncomfortable. One person in our group had to leave because there was nowhere suitable for her to sleep. I requested a cancellation but received no response. This was a very disappointing experience, and the accommodation did not meet the description or our basic expectations. Please look carefully at the photos before booking, as they do not reflect the actual condition of the property.

  Good place for an early start to catch a train

  Liked: A clean apartment on two levels with the bedroom in the basement. The toilet and shower were good. Very close to Chamatin railway station for a short walk to catch the train.

  Disliked: Apart from the sofa and the bed there was very little else in the room. As we were only there for one night it wasn't a problem, but there was nothing to cook with, nor anything to make a coffee with.

  Decent location

  Liked: All amenities needed - including washing machine - would use if staying longer. Location was good. Close to airport close to city centre. Easy access to Metro.

  Disliked: Couch could do with a clean or replace it!

  Think twice before booking

  Liked: The distance the subway station

  Disliked: Every related to the flat itself. It's dirty, mold and stains everywhere, towels from previous people staying hasn't been removed, smell of humidity, stains on the sheets, they ask you to perform a video call showing your ID prior to check in (!?), there was stuff left in the fridge from previous people, no basic kitchen amenities, of it wasn't for the location that was essential for me during my trip I wouldn't have stayed. It's ridiculous amount of money for what it is. Also, the bedroom is located on a subterranean floor accessible by a narrow stair, making it extremely uncomfortable

  For a quick stay and young people

  Liked: Location is good. It is not in a noisy area and it is comfortable. It has fridge, washing machine, AC and the space is quite good for 2-3 people.

  Disliked: It is so wet, there are stains of humidity everywhere and you can smell it. The access to the room passes through a very narrow spiral staircase, not suitable for anyone with physical problems or old people. The warm water in the shower stopped working at the end of the second shower (we were 3, tha last one could not have a shower).

  Worst experience on Booking.com

  Liked: The only perk of this apartment is the location.

  Disliked: If you can, avoid this property at all costs. This was absolutely my worst experience on Booking.com. My family and I were in Madrid for one night making a travel connection, and we needed proximity to the Chamartin station. The apartment was extremely dirty. There was some garbage underneath the cabinet in the bathroom, probably left from previous tenants. The top of the fridge was covered in dust, and the kitchen lacks basic tools (microwave safe cups, for instance). Alos, if you are traveling with small kids, the stairs are a potential hazard, so I would not recommend it for a long stay. Staff was extremely unfriendly and, at times, even rude. I forgot a pair of reading glasses inside the apartment because of the morning rush to the airport I have a friend in Madrid, so I attempted to arrange a pick-up, but the contact person only offered to pass by the apartment the same day between 11 and noon (impossible for either me or my friend as I was traveling and my friend was at work).
