  All good

  Liked: Carla at the front desk was EXTREMELY helpful. Very valuable staff member. Excellent breakfast. Great coffee and no waiting ( 3 machines).

  Disliked: Can’t think of anything worth mentioning. Quiet room, good bed. Bathroom was definitely sufficient.

  Decent hotel in Madrid

  Liked: Great location, close to two metro stations and in walking distance to Gran Via.

  Disliked: Insulation. Or the lack of insulation. Across the street, there’s a market and one of their escalators was malfunctioning and made a squeaking noise all night and one could hear it as if inside the room. Lighting is also weird. Only white/cold lights, making it feel less cosy.

  Liked: Room.was huge and beds very comfortable, bathroom has bidet which is a plus. Breakfast was delicious and very various for all tastes. Reception were very kind and professionals.

  Disliked: Lighting at the breakfast room, makes it hard for you eyes in the morning

  Pleasant stay

  Liked: Check in took a while and they had to check if my room was ready despite getting there way past check in time. They apologized and gave me free breakfast for my first day. Liked the fridge, kettle and iron in the room

  Liked: Location, decent breakfast, confortable mattress, renovated rooms

  Disliked: The balcony door in the room was not functioning properly, and its handle came off. I could not stay in the room due to a security concern, as the door was effectively left open. When I raised the issue at reception, the receptionist said that there were no other rooms available. When I asked to speak with a manager, a lady came to the reception desk, apologised for the inconvenience, and upgraded us to a superior room.
