  Cheap, basic, central stay

  Liked: Basically that it was a simple, clean, cheap stay in a good central location and sometimes these are hard to find in Madrid. Appreciated the elevator and that the desk was staffed so it was easy to get in. I also appreciated having a TV. I used the shared bathrooms and never had to wait and these were generally clean, though a bit dated and some of the other guests were messy and left trash behind (booo!).

  Disliked: I had read reviews and had one of the cheapest rooms, so wasn't surprised, but it is a tiny room with no fresh air. For one night in middle of traveling through it was ok, but it would have been tough to stay here longer in this room (I can't speak for the better rooms). The wifi was poor and erratic and staff was really dismissive when I told them I had trouble getting on wifi, just pointing to the sign with logins for the 3 different options. I had tried them all - connected to a couple but told "no internet access". I had to come to lobby at times for wifi. And at other times it would randomly work. Annoying and undependable. It could also be loud when the other guests were being loud - this was only a few times during my stay, but poor soundproofing.

  A convinient place for just a sleep over and to get on going with your business

  Liked: No one explained to me about breakfast

  Disliked: There was light in the on in the next room which brightened mine and I struggled to sleep. The room was really tine with no enough space for luggage
