  Great place to base yourself to explore Madrid

  Liked: The room was exceptionally clean and well appointed. The beds were comfortable and the linen clean. The bathroom although not the biggest, had a big shower space and hot water was available all the time. It was a comfortable space. It was very clean. The air conditioning was wonderful in a very hot Madrid in July. The hosts were friendly and approachable. The accommodation has a lift which helped with our suitcases. The location is excellent, you are a short walk from Metro stations of two different lines. It is a forty minute walk to the centre eg. Puerta del Sol. It is a pleasant walk that takes you through a main artery of shops, cinemas and food outlets. The pension is in a residential area with plenty of lovely cafeterias, restaurants, bars and local shops. There is a supermarket round the corner. I would definitely stay there again. Highly recommended.

  Disliked: For twin beds you get a view of the inner well, but it did not detract from our stay. It would have been nice to have a kettle in the room.

  Safe, pleasant, quiet

  Liked: Super clean and well run Pension. The check in manager was very friendly and helpful. I could check in eventhough I was hours too early.

  Disliked: Nothing - it is a cute little pension - reminded me of being an au-pair in Paris

  The owner is super nice and made us feel very welcome, room was ready early for checkin, everything was pretty much perf

  Liked: Clean, everything you need is there and everything worked well (AC etc)

  Disliked: The location isn’t a 10/10 but you’re at plaza de españa in a 30minute walk which is fine and the metro is super close

  Liked: Extremely clean, best housekeeping I've had during a stay. There is AC and plenty of room to store your belongings, as well as a small fridge. The area is nice and close to the core of Madrid, with nearby connections to the metro.

  Perfect Area

  Liked: Although not close to Plaza Mayor. It was a lovely walk through many other parts of the city to get there which we enjoyed more,Lots more to offer.. 6 min walk was Plaza de Olavide with many restaurants and great coffee. Accommodation was perfect and clean. Also private. Great value
