  A comfortable hostel with good breakfast, but faulty showers and extra charges for towels

  Liked: Despite being small, the hostel offers a good breakfast. The bed was comfortable, and having a storage trunk to keep my luggage was a great plus. Also the location it´s perfect if you come from train station and if you wnat to go to Jardins de Sabatini see the sunset!

  Disliked: Unfortunately, this is one of the few hostels that charges extra for towels, which I believe should be a basic amenity. The showers were also faulty: even when set to hot, the water only stayed warm for about three seconds before turning cold. Please fix this, as it really affects the overall experience.

  Liked: I really liked this hostel. It was my first time in hostel and it exceeded my expectations. I really didn't have high expectations for hostel but this was amazing. So clean and quiet. It also have a social club (i was not part of that but if someone is more open to meet new people it's great opportunity). Location is also great it's close to metro station and to Royal Palace. Very recommended! 👌

  Liked: Nice privacy curtains around comfy, well made bunks. Huge lockers for your bags too. Good common areas.

  Disliked: It was very hot inside. Didnt feel like the air conditioner was working at all. It is very narrow between beds, so it can be hard for multiple people to get into their lockers and get ready at the same time

  Liked: position, only good thing.

  Disliked: My experience with the staff was disappointing overall. The male staff members were generally friendly and helpful, but several female staff members were less welcoming. Even simple requests were often met with sighs or visible annoyance, making us feel as though we were bothering them. One woman in particular repeatedly dismissed our requests or handled them with little care. For example, there was no shower gel in the shower. When I asked her to refill it, she told me to use the hand soap instead. This was not an appropriate response to a basic request. The rooms were cold, and when we reported this, we were told someone would come to check. Nobody ever came during our entire stay. The bathrooms were rarely cleaned, and the rooms smelled unpleasant. I was travelling with a friend, and the way this same staff member treated him also made us feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. I cannot say what motivated her attitude (although I do have my own suspicions), but every guest deserves to be treated with courtesy and respect. I appreciate the staff members who were helpful, but the overall service needs to improve. To top it all off, I also received an email accusing me of mistreating the staff and stealing a roll of kitchen paper. I had taken it to clean up coffee I had spilled on the floor of my room. I may have forgotten to put it back afterwards, but calling that “stealing” seems excessive. No comment.

  Liked: people there were cool, we had many chats and the staff were very friendly too we also loved the guitar too

Personal lockers measure approximately 30x90x95cm. All belongings (suitcases, backpacks, shoes...) must remain inside the locker during your stay. Petit Hostel reserves the right to deny access to the hostel if the belongings do not fit inside the locker.​Guests are required to show a photo ID and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply.

Guests under the age of 18 can only check in with a parent or official guardian.

A deposit may be required at the property.
