Exceptional
Excellent location, peaceful surroundings, a lovely terrace
Liked: The facilities and location of the accommodation fully met our expectations for a one-week holiday in mid-October without a car. The train station, bus stops and metro stations are all very close by, making it easy to get everywhere, including the Old Town, which is also within walking distance. The beach is just a short walk away, so we were even able to enjoy swimming in the sea. Despite its central location, the accommodation was wonderfully quiet. We also particularly enjoyed the terrace, which was a lovely place to relax and unwind.

Good location, but significant issues with cleanliness and air conditioning
Liked: The location is a plus: situated in a less touristy part of Malaga, just a 10-minute walk from the beach and around 30 minutes from the city centre. Shops and public transport are nearby. The apartment is generally well-equipped, with a few significant exceptions (see below).
Disliked: The air conditioning doesn’t work properly. This issue has already been mentioned in previous reviews and, apparently, has remained unresolved for quite some time. Instead, a fan and a portable indoor air conditioner are provided, but both are very noisy and ineffective. Be prepared for high temperatures inside the apartment. The apartment needs renovation and a thorough refresh, and the cleanliness leaves a lot to be desired, with mould, mildew and dust present. You may also occasionally encounter cockroaches, flies or ants. Some of the chairs are damaged, so be careful where you sit. Communication is handled through some kind of chatbot, so be prepared to be patient.
Liked: The location was good, very close to beach and right outside metro station into the city centre. Room was clean
Disliked: You can hear the building door from the room and its very loud. Found the singular pillow for the bed uncomfortable. Stove didn't work.
There were cockroachs in the room and the AC was not working
Disliked: I was not able to reach the host. The WhatsApp was run by the robot and the problem with the AC was not resolved
Great appartment but the cockroach situation needs to be sorted out
Liked: The location was great, the courtyard was lovely. We also really appreciated how dark the bedroom stayed in the morning.
Disliked: The main issue was the cockroaches, the apartement had traps for them but I had to remove 4 dead cockroaches and kill 2 myself. Seeing as the appartment has a kithchen, it would be great if it had the basics such as oil, salt, pepper, some spices.
We enjoied two weels in Malaga. The acommondation was fine. Lots of things to do in and around Malag
Liked: Locatio was fine. Used public transport to go to and from the city center. Lots of shops and resaurants near by.
Disliked: Would have prefeared to have a balcony. The drain from the shower was almost blocked.
