Pleasant
All good! This is a good place🙂
Liked: The location is excellent. At the heart of Malaga. Very accessible.
Disliked: The kitchen is located after the third floor. The bathroom is very tiny.
Online check in needs to be improved
Liked: Good staff, clean hostel, great location.
Disliked: Neither light nor socket above my bed worked. Impossible to check in online due to system problems. I had to phone the hostel to guarantee my prepaid booking.
Overall, I had a pleasant stay and enjoyed my time in Málaga. I would recommend it to other travelers
Liked: The location was convenient, the atmosphere was pleasant, and the property was a good place to stay while visiting Málaga
Disliked: There was a little noise from outside, possibly because my room was close to the street. However overall, I had a good stay
I don’t recommend this hostel look for somewhere else to stay
Disliked: My experience at this hostel was extremely unpleasant. The older woman in charge of the establishment treated us in a disrespectful, hostile and, in my opinion, discriminatory manner. There were three of us, and we had booked a stay from October 1 to October 7. However, one of our friends unexpectedly had to travel, so we decided to cancel the reservation. He had been in the room for less than two minutes when this happened. When we requested a refund, the staff spoke to us in an inappropriate and unprofessional manner, mocking us and making sarcastic remarks. In the end, they refunded us for only four days. We did not argue with them or try to create any problems. At the end of our stay, we went downstairs to return the keys and collect our €20 deposit, which we had paid as security for the room access card in case it was lost. Despite our repeated requests, the woman refused to return our deposit. When we insisted on getting our money back, she kicked us out of the hostel in a humiliating and, in our opinion, discriminatory manner. What made the situation even more shocking was that other people were also waiting for their taxis with us, as we had luggage and needed to wait there. Nevertheless, she forced us to leave and then spat in our direction after we had walked away. All of this happened simply because we had requested a refund when we first arrived and asked for our €20 deposit back at the end of our stay. I consider this behaviour completely unacceptable, disrespectful and inappropriate for someone managing a hospitality business. I would not recommend this hostel because of the way we were treated and how our refund and deposit requests were handled. I hope other guests do not have to go through a similar experience.
Doesnt Need to be!
Disliked: Staff quite serious for Holiday mood. Could be more friendly. Rooms Are too simple and the beds are shaking too much! There is no Common Area just the hall. I think there should be more Common Area. Like a terrace or a Place outside not just inside.
