  You get what you'd expect for the price

  Liked: I chose the hotel because of its convenient location (Parque Mediterraneo + beach) and its affordable price (compared to other hotels in Marbella). It offers good value for money, and you get exactly what you expect—which is particularly practical for a solo traveler. The room is small but has everything needed for a stay of a few days, including a comfortable bed and air conditioning. The breakfast is decent for the price: scrambled eggs, bread rolls, croissants, various spreads, cheese, ham, and coffee.

  Disliked: The hotel is located near a shady area. Fortunately, the taxi driver told me which areas to avoid in the evening and at night—though it’s generally not a problem during the day. The walls between the rooms are very thin; you can hear pretty much everything from the neighboring rooms (conversations, TV) and the hallway. The staff speaks only broken English, but communication was still possible.

  It was the most seedy hotel I have ever seen

  Liked: The hotel was in a super rough area. Lots of junkies hanging around outside. It felt unsafe!
