  It’s was ok I won’t come back

  Liked: It’s not a hotel. It’s a personal villa, and rooms are rented out. No hotel facilities, no service. Nothing like that

  Disliked: I did not like that there is no service at all. It’s positioned as a hotel but it’s rooms in a private house, hosts rent out. This should be clear, otherwise info is misleading

  Extraordinary. Luxurious, interesting, welcoming. Can’t wait to visit again

  Liked: Absolutely everything. One of the best places we have stayed. High in the hills overlooking the sea. You can park on road bang outside. Discretely hidden behind doors, leading to elevator up to fascinating rooms. Reception/bar area enormous fun, full of treasures and vast numbers of books. Pool with sunbeds above. Our room was enormous and stylishly decorated. Everything you could want in bathroom. Fridge. Huge dressing area. You can view a menu and pre order food for supper before 5pm, then eat on gorgeous terrace that evening. Breakfast does not have to be pre arranged. Individually cooked, best omelettes ever. Unique place. We think only 4 rooms. You feel part of a carefully chosen private house party in an unrepeatable building designed by the owners, who are generous enough to then look after you. We want to go back as soon and often as possible. Also, fabulous beautiful cats wander around and will allow you to adore them if you are lucky. Hard to believe we just stumbled upon this place on booking.com?

  Liked: The hotel was funky, which was nice. And the owners & staff were great. We had an issue with our hotel water not being hot but it was sorted as soon as we reported it.

  Disliked: The location is a bit out of the way. The room we booked implied it had a view (which it didn't). In fact, the room was worded something like 'the standout features of this room are the pool, the view, and the firepit' - none of which we had. Yes, there is a communal pool - but all rooms would benefit from it - not just the one we chose. Our room also had a bad smell in it - we had to leave the outer door open while we were in it. The other thing they don't (but definitely should) mention until you're there, is that you're not allowed to flush toilet paper down the loo - it's to be put into a separate bin in the bathroom, which is only cleared once a day.

  Definitely return if I’m in the area

  Liked: A little gem of a place nestled in the hillside overlooking Marbella and the Mediterranean Sea. Great host. No expense spared to do this place up. It’s superb with amazing decoration. In a really quiet location. Right up my street.

Good to know

A surcharge of 30 euro applies for arrivals after 10 pm and of 50 euro after 11 pm. All requests for late arrival are subject to confirmation by the property.

When traveling with pets, please note that there is a maximum of 2 per room. Fee: €30 per night per pet. Pets must not be left alone in the room.

In common areas, dogs must wear a leash and muzzle. Please note that the property can only allow pets with a maximum weight of 4 kilos. Pets are not allowed loose.
