  Abhorrent Unhygienic Apartment where the landlord uses the Mop to unblock the toilet. Avoid!!!

  Disliked: Terrible Drainage in the apartment. Literally after an hour of moving in, I had to call the Landlord to come over to unblock the toilet as nothing would go down. When he came, instead of using a plunger he used the mop on the balcony and used that to unblock the toilet. I had to infact prompt him to get the bucket otherwise he was going to drag the mop with dirty toilet water from the toilet inside the flat back to the balcony. The fact that I had to prompt him on this makes me think he uses that mop to clean the flat (I felt physically sick inside after he left). He denied that he does in subsquent whatsapp messages, but then that implies he uses this Mop to unblock the toilets previously instead of getting a jetting team to address the issue once and for all. Anyways, I didn't bother contacting him again after that, and used the mop several times to unblock the toilet during my stay. Furthermore, there is an ant infestation in the flat. I didn't cook once in the apartment yet there were ants all over the place. I actually approached Booking.com to mediate to ask for a Partial Refund for my stay and he refused, so now I am posting this review here and will do so on other platforms too. No guest should have to be made to live in this abhorrent conditions when he is charging £700 for the week. The person who left the review with the cockroaches was right and I wish I had trusted my instinct and opted for somewhere else when I read it. Don't make the same mistake I did.

  The worst experience we ever had

  Disliked: Runnnn!!!! This apartment was infested with cockroaches. When we arrived during the day, everything seemed fine at first, though the place wasn’t properly cleaned and the towels were covered in hair. We brushed it off because it was close to Puerto Banus (we even bought our own towels). But at night, things turned into a nightmare. After turning off the lights to sleep, within 20 minutes cockroaches started appearing everywhere huge ones, around 5 cm long, coming out of every corner. It was so bad that we had to sleep in our car. The next morning, after several calls, the owner came to see for himself. He found us sleeping in our car, yet still claimed we were exaggerating. (He even had cockroach spray hidden in a cabinet but pretended not to know about the problem.) He tried to persuade us to stay, but the apartment was simply not habitable. We refused to stay and had to book another apartment last minute, losing our money because he denied a refund through Booking. Our holiday was ruined from day one. Please, stay away no one deserves to go through this nightmare!
