  Maspalomas is Magic

  Liked: The house is fully equipped with everything you may need, including bath towels, pool towels, hand soap, shower gel, and all the other essentials to make your stay comfortable, like all kitchen equipment, TV and outdoor furniture. The location is good with a pool, supermarket, cafe, & restaurant within the complex. Outside the complex, a pleasant walk to the Yumba centre, golden beaches, the dunes and the amazing Lopesan Spa. Mac's Tea House for the very good value Full English breakfast for our lunch was great too. Sarah was a wonderful host, very good communication throughout and takes care of your check-in. Sarah contacts you via WhatsApp to send you the link to complete the self check-in. Sarah also sends you the location and all the necessary details so that she can hand over the keys to you in person. Car parking is on the street next to the complex in a pleasant neighborhood.

  Disliked: Nothing to dislike. It was relaxing and tranquil.

  Suitable for a base to explore the area if you're satisfied to live in a very, very small space

  Liked: Locationwise, this is central enough for a base to explore the area.

  Disliked: This accommodation is small...and I mean very small. Whilst it has an upstairs bedroom, there is just about enough room for a double bed and the wardrobe. The downstairs kitchen/sitting area is the smallest I've experienced in over 10 years of visiting the Canaries. There's absolutely no room for a table, and the breakfast bar is essential surface space if you wan to prepare food from the miniscule 2 ring hob and whilst there's a sink, there's no space for a drainer. There is a table outside which we used but if you need to stay in, forget it.

  Everything you need in a cosy, functional duplex bungalow

  Liked: The host was fantastic. Communication was easy and effective. The bungalow is located in Campo Internacional, in a gated community. You feel relaxed and at home in this little community. The bungalow has everything you need and is sparklingly clean. Next to it, you got a clean pool that is never too crowded and a supermarket 2 minutes from door-to-door. It's easy to arrive by bus from the airport. I got an incredible 8-night stay and would repeat it given the chance.

  Disliked: The pool can get a bit noisy at times with kids. However, with earplugs, you can cancel out all the noise. I'm a solo traveler who does not enjoy kids, so these are some things others might tolerate better.
