  Location, Location, Location

  Liked: Lock boxcode was provided by Leo as I didn't arrive in time due to my flight being delayed. Leo and Andrea were fantastic hosts. Location to Yumbo was Fantastic! it was literally on top of the Yumbo Centre, the airport bus also makes it easy to reach due to the bus going straight to Yumbo and its 2 minutes walk. SPAR and 2 Hiperdinos in about 5 minutes walking distance for Groceries All the pots, pans, utilities that you can think of that you might need in an apartment. bidet in the toilet, Rainfall shower and handheld shower, Washing machine. Distance to Beach kiosk 5 & 6 is a bit of a walk from the apartment, but you can always take a taxi back to the Yumbo using the rank at the Riu Plaza.

  Disliked: As it is above the Yumbo, there are locations that open Late (till 4am) and you can hear it throughout the apartment If you have the balcony doors open. It's a shame how some previous apartment residents were not able to show any care for an apartment that isn't theirs. When we arrived, we had batteries for ceiling fans however 1 battery for the remote was missing, however I found it later, The apartment on arrival was initially spotless, However some guests before my groups arrival stained the sofa and its hard to remove those stains, there's also some furniture that is for the balcony and that was also broken by the previous stays, Which is not at the detriment of the apartment owners. the drain smell that came through was a tad pungent at times but nothing a bit of ventilation wouldn't sort

  Liked: Great apartment

  Disliked: The apartment is listed with a washing machine which we tried to use but it didn't work properly, when we contacted the owner he was very quick in putting the blame on us, which apparently had happened before, so suggest that the machine is old and faulty but still had to pay a substantial fee to get a technician to fix it, was there for 10 days so wanted to wash the bedding but too risky to use the machine again and incorporate another technician fee, there is no air conditioning but it does have ceiling fans, however we had to shut the windows at night because of the noise from the bars in the Yumbo centre which went on to the early hours

  Liked: Perfect location next to the yumbo, the pool was never busy so it was very peaceful. There was no air-con but we didn’t need it with the ceiling fans and the breeze through the windows.

  Perfect for what we needed for the week

  Liked: Clean, perfect location. Quiet and private Everything we needed was supplied in the room

  Disliked: The pool could be kept in better condition. Quite a lot of dirt settled on pool floor and sharp edges where tiles had came off. But i could not fault the apartment or the host
