Very good
Liked: Position was great. Very clean. Host was very helpful. Close to train. 1 level of stairs. Well equipped. Comfy beds.
Cozy place close to the sea
Liked: Apartment is rather large for this pricing. Location, friendly and flexible customer support, deposit returned smoothly. Great terrace.
Disliked: Shower door was broken. The bed in the second bedroom could have been bigger.
Not matching the description
Liked: Location WIFI Air conditioning
Disliked: The apartment did not match the description provided. The furniture was very old and in poor condition. Upon arrival, there was no one to greet us, and I had to pick up the key myself from a nearby restaurant. The apartment itself was very small, and the bedrooms didn’t even have locks on the doors. Additionally, before arrival, I was unexpectedly asked by a third party (via the host) to pay a deposit and sign a contract, including providing personal details and ID photos of all guests — which I found unreasonable and declined to do.
OK Price but needs a refresh
Liked: I think the pics are a few years old and it needs a refresh. This feels like they do the bare minimum to airbnb it and not extras that make a stay special. LOTS of steps to climb if that's not your thing. Beach and train to BCN were blocks away, so that works if you don't drive.
Disliked: Parking around the area is a nighmare so you have to pay. A few blocks away is a bustling restaurant/retail area. Check that out.

Liked: Close to beach, close to train station, Mataro itself has a nice old town also in walking distance. Clean apartment with a terrace and air conditioning.
