Look for another place!
Liked: Place is hard to find. Hidden in a side entry.
Disliked: Some customers/tourists broke into my apartment at 2:40 am, stating that they received the door code from the owner, and had a reservation for the night. Total shock of my life staying here someone breaking in in the middle of the night! The place stinks like cigarettes, I informed the owner on my arrival, he said they had cleaned the room 2 days ago and it was not stinking then.
Exceptional
Liked: Fantastic Apartment in a Perfect Location We were thoroughly satisfied with our stay! The location of the apartment was absolutely perfect – central yet quiet, with everything we needed close by. The entire booking and check-in process went smoothly and without any issues. A real highlight was the beautiful rooftop terrace, where we spent many relaxing hours. We would come back anytime – highly recommended!
Too humid
Liked: There are many grocery stores and restaurants in this area.
Disliked: The apartment is divided into two parts and you have to walk "outside" (with the small steps, not even flat) in order to go to the other room. Although there is a sort of ceiling, it was extremely inconvenient to move between kitchen (which is connected to the main building and has entrance door) and bedroom (the toilet is located on this side). Moreover, the humidity inside was unbearable, especially in the bedroom. It was so humid that my laptop bag got moldy after one week. We used Air-conditioning but after a few days, it started dropping water inside of the room. The bedroom has no usable window. The only window exists is located on the ceiling and not reachable and there is a big duct or something outside of this window. It was impossible to get some fresh air into this room. In the kitchen part, there is no Air-conditioning but ceiling fan which doesn't cool down the temperature of the room during day although our stay was in May...Last but not least, the laundry machine is outside of the room and shared with other people. During the first week of our stay, we couldn't do the laundry because we didn't get the laundry rack. Apparently someone was using and keeping it in their room for a week. I asked the owner to give us the laundry rack but they didn't do anything...After one week, we finally could do the laundry.
Might get noisy, but good if you just spend nights there and use shower
Liked: The price is definitely great for area near Barcelona. It took us 40-50 mins to get to the city. Also it was cozy and had everything we needed. Responsive host and great place if you’re looking for apartment to spend couple nights at.
Disliked: The area during the days and evenings are crowded and it can get very noisy. It didn’t bother us, but for some people it might be an important point. Also we didn’t have enough oxygen and I needed to open balcony during the night (which was scary a bit haha).
Passable
Liked: The location was good but the staff were not friendly. The guy didn't really bother to help much as I couldn't speak Spanish. His English wasn't great either.
Disliked: The room wasn't clean apart from the bed. The floor was full of dust all over the room
Poor
Disliked: We had to reduce the length of our stay as there were active building works in the building that began in the morning, and the fumes made it difficult to breathe inside the apartment. It has been 5+ weeks and we are still waiting on the host to answer our concerns
