Nice hotel with friendly staff. Be careful when you view the rooms. My view would be forget the Junior Suites and book
Liked: Overall a nice hotel. Very friendly staff.
Disliked: Our room - We booked a Junior Suite - all of these seem to overlook the pool. Our balcony was tiny. I don’t recommend these rooms. Suggest booking a Superior with seaview. Hotel reception were not prepared to move us even though there seemed to be availability.
Great location of Es Castell for a slightly quieter stay away from Mahon
Liked: Staff were lovely. Naomi was particularly warm and made our stay particularly welcoming.
Liked: The location is excellent and i suppose that is the reason for the expensive price but for our mini break we were totally disappointed we paid for a suite and all inclusive option as we were celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary we requested an early check in as we had an early flight but when we got here no one knew anything about an early check in and actually our room was not ready until after the normal 2pm check in time on the second morning staff were jet washing directly outside our suite at 730am for two hours i went to speak with the manager but they were not available and another member of staff filled a complaint and told me the manager would contact me when they started work i am still waiting on our final day we went to have lunch but were told our all inclusive entitlement ended at 12 noon even though when we arrived we were told we would have a complementary late check out time of 1pm it is a great shame as most of the staff were fantastic and we were planning on coming back but now we would probably look elsewhere for a different hotel

Disliked: Not enough staff- food was poor, rooms weren’t serviced and got food poisoning from frozen chicken
