Exceptional
Very enjoyable nostalgia trip to a very interesting city
Liked: Excellent staff. Very nice spacious room.

A lovely relaxing stay in a beautiful palace with wonderful staff
Liked: This collection of palaces are beautifully decorated and have lovely indoor and outdoor pools and a spa. Breakfast has hot and cold options - and staff are extremely helpful.
Disliked: The lighting could have been better - and the TV too small to watch comfortably from the bed.
Idyllic stay in charming Ciutadella central. So close to wonderful shopping, restaurants and bars
Liked: We had a beautiful room with a bath, overlooking the cathedral. It was quiet and peaceful and the hotel has charming decor.
Liked: The hotel staff are amazing. They are so helpful, friendly and available. The pools and grounds are lovely and the breakfast was very generous
Beautiful hotel in a great spot with excellent facilities
Liked: Beautiful hotel and spa with lots of lovely, thoughtful details. It’s in a great location but and also had a lovely day at Casa de Pau, though we’d also very happily have stayed at the hotel for the whole trip too!
Disliked: There really wasn’t much to improve on. My main points were that we drove to Casa de Pau, and weren’t 100% sure that we’d got to the right place - clearer signs on arrival would be helpful. We also had a few moments at the hotel where we had to wait quite a while for staff but that wasn’t a huge problem. They were attentive, perhaps just not enough of them.
Great location, poor value
Liked: The location, right in the middle of the old town. The majority of the staff were polite and helpful.
Disliked: The hotel you see on the website is the main building, however there are several other annexes. Ours was 200 m away and had a few cleaners but no Reception desk or services other than a plunge pool. We were disappointed that this was not made clear when we booked. The rooms are not luxurious, as you would expect from the price charged of 330€ per night. The first room we were shown was very smal and dark with a small window. Again, not at all what we expected from a 5 Star rated hotel. We were offered another larger room in the same satellite annexe but it faced the street and had very thin walls so every time the adjoining room turned on a tap or flushed the toilet, it woke us up. The gymnasium is tiny with some weights and a static bicycle. We had breakfast included but it was a disorganised experience that could be much better. For example, the "orange juice" is rediluted concentrated orange juice with some pulp added to make it look real. The food is laid out as a buffet in a room inside the hotel next to reception. The seating area is about 25 metres away in the garden outside.
