Very nice, really enjoyed the swimming pools and the stunning views

Liked: When we arrived we were shown our room, which did not seem to match the photographs on Booking.com. as the room did not have a large terrace with sun loungers. The Manager kindly showed me other rooms which again did not match. Finally I asked for a room with a sea view and was accommodated. She said that there would be no extra charge as we were only staying three days. It was very kind of her not to charge us extra, but I do believe that the photos are not accurate and misleading. The hotel grounds are lovely with stunning views of the sea. The restaurant by the pool is very good with some very different dishes.

Disliked: The kitchen facilities, there was no crockery, no utensils, no large cups, only small espresso. The breakfast room was very basic, the food was good, but the dining cart being pushed around with a bucket on it collecting dirty dishes was unbelievable. I think they need to invest in more staff and have more umbrellas on the terrace so that you can sit outside

    Excellent. Will repeat

Liked: Excellent access to beach from room. Generous breakfast buffet.

Disliked: The room smelt of bleach or disinfectant. A room deodoriser would have improved my experience. Flys and ants in the kitchen area. A keen eye and spraying would have prevented this.

Liked: There are some notable positives. The location is stunning, with breathtaking views, and the hotel is very conveniently located for Binibeca. The rooms are spacious and, importantly, the air conditioning works well. I would strongly recommend booking a room with a sea view, as the views are one of the hotel's biggest assets. It's worth knowing that there aren't many food options around Binibeca, so having a car or some other form of transport is highly recommended. Taxis can also be difficult to arrange and can take a long time to arrive, so don't rely on them if you're trying to get somewhere at a particular time. The nearby beaches are lovely, but they are a reasonable walk away, which can be particularly uncomfortable in the August heat. If you want a beach bed, make sure you book in advance as availability can be limited. Overall, this is a hotel in a great location with beautiful surroundings and spacious, comfortable rooms, but the service and facilities don't match what I would expect from a 4-star property. With some investment in the facilities, better maintenance and, most importantly, a more welcoming and attentive approach from staff, it could be a very good hotel. As things stand, however, I would rate it as 3-star rather than 4-star based on the overall experience.

Disliked: A beautiful location, but not a 4-star experience We stayed at the hotel for a week and, while there are certainly some positives, overall we felt that the experience was much closer to a 3-star hotel than a 4-star one. The biggest disappointment was the level of service. The reception staff generally came across as disinterested, unenthusiastic and, on occasions, rude. There was one younger member of staff who was noticeably more friendly and helpful, but unfortunately this was the exception rather than the rule. We experienced something similar in the restaurant, where most staff seemed uninterested, with some of the more senior members being considerably more attentive and pleasant. The facilities also don't really live up to what you would expect from a 4-star hotel. The reception area looks tired and in need of refurbishment, while the gym is particularly poor and appears to be falling apart. The pool areas could also do with some maintenance. One of the strangest issues was the lack of parasols compared to the amount of sunbeds available between the three pools. Get there early or avoid for the day. Another issue is accessibility and the general level of convenience. Bags are not taken to your room, and getting luggage there yourself can be quite difficult due to stairs and uneven surfaces. This is something you wouldn't necessarily expect from a hotel marketed as 4-star. The cleaners were generally pleasant, although there was a clear language barrier as they didn't speak English. On a few occasions, the room wasn't properly cleaned and it seemed that the towels had simply been changed rather than the room being fully serviced.
