  Very authentic, high quality, and quite place

  Liked: Charming hotel inside of old farm house. Nice big garden to walk around, quite unique indoor swimming pool, and nicely located outdoor one. The restaurant is great: breakfast with variety of options, dinner is served in a fantastic place under the huge tree. The food is good. The lobby area is comfy with a good bar, outside sitting is available to spend afternoon reading or playing with kids.

  Disliked: Unfortunately, outdoor pool was closed due to malfunction. The place is in the middle of the island, no quick access to the beach.

  In need of good thorough shake up as reiterated above

  Liked: Undoubtedly the gardens are magnificent. No doubt. Well worth a visit. Like a Roman emperor’s estate. Hadrian comes to mind. The staff: notably the restaurant staff: excellent and very warm hearted. Very obliging. Much appreciated. Gracias.

  Disliked: Hmmm. We had booked this place in context of an important family birthday. Mine. We hoped for peace tranquility some lovely morning swims perhaps some spa. Oh dear. I did manage one dip in lovely if some might say oddly located pool long way down steep steps from hotel. Then woke to find: pool shut for foreseeable future: spa closed ditto spa pool. No indication to guests re reopening date. An offer finally for us to take ourselves (!!!!!) to sister property well up the road down a dusty track where indeed far off in the middle of an exposed field hooray a pool was to be found. I’ve got nothing against boisterous boys dive bombing pool but this is NOT what I had in mind when I booked the Hotel Santa Ponsa in Menorca. This is in sum a gardens to visit and a good restaurant to visit with very nice food. The hotel bit is missing. Mostly it’s like the Marie Celeste and there’s no lovely welcoming vibe for guests in hotel area. A general manager should be out 24/7 on the floor instigating this vibe & checking closely & visibly on guest comfort & contentment. That is what a hotel is meant to provide. I’m not saying I did not get an acceptable refund re above for my friends family & I. But this is not what this is about. Won’t be returning but wish anyone who does a pleasant stay.

  Honestly, it was way too expensive for what it was. I’m really disappointed

  Liked: The property is beautiful. Yet out room, didn’t have air conditioner for more than half of the stay. We tried to communicate that to the staff, but they didn’t solve anything.

  Disliked: Our room was marketed as a suite, but it was far from it. It was a long walk to the rest of the hotel. It didn’t have WiFi and the air conditioner didn’t work.

  Relaxation from start to finish, with amazing location and fantastic staff

  Liked: The setting and design of the hotel were excellent, the garden and all the various paths to explore were superb. Breakfast on the terrace were superb - with a special mention for their gluten free awareness. The outdoor and indoor pool and spa were great. Best of all - the staff. Having stayed at many similar hotels, I know how hard it is to get this right. All of our interactions with the staff were superb - they really do make this hotel such a fantastic place to stay at.

  Liked: Breakfast was lovely, delicious and very fresh! Bread was amazing.

  Disliked: We had booked a room with a terrace, however the room we were given was very small, just wished it was more spacious.
