  It’s a 10 out of 10 from me!

  Liked: Fantastic resort with lovely, fully equipped apartments. It was spotlessly clean and the staff were amazing. I have mobility issues and our apartment was quite a distance from their check in offices and they very kindly gave us a lift to our apartment and collected us at the end of the week. I had hired a mobility scooter in advance and was glad of this to be able to get to the beach which was superb. The pool area on site was really nice and the restaurant was excellent. The staff are friendly and welcoming and the food we had was superb. It’s a 10/10 from me!

  Cute but basic

  Liked: The apartment is very cute and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Parking was a big plus, with plenty of public spaces available even in August. The swimming pool accessible through the nearby restaurant was also a nice bonus. Most importantly, communication with the hosts was excellent, they were very friendly, responsive, and always available via WhatsApp.

  Disliked: The accommodation is quite basic, with very few amenities. We only had a small amount of dish soap and two kitchen towels, so having some basics like salt and pepper would have been appreciated. The furniture is also a little dated, with a very small sofa. Considering the price, we expected a little more in terms of comfort and overall value for money.

  Relaxing but not perfect

  Liked: Free parking, spacious, quiet.

  Disliked: Not many utensils or glasses in the kitchen. No sun beds on balcony and you have to pay for sun beds round the pool 15 euros a day!

  Liked: We had a wonderful stay at Son Bou Playa Gold Apartments. The apartment was clean, comfortable, spacious, and had everything we needed for a relaxing holiday. The kitchen was very well equipped, which was a big plus. The location is excellent — peaceful and close to the beautiful Son Bou beach, as well as restaurants and local shops. The pool area was also very nice and clean, perfect for relaxing after a day at the beach. One thing worth mentioning is that the supermarkets in Son Bou are quite overpriced. We would definitely recommend renting a car, not only for exploring Menorca but also for shopping. There are much bigger supermarkets with better prices in the larger nearby towns, so having a car makes a big difference. We really enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere and felt very comfortable throughout our stay. The apartment was a great base for exploring the island, and we would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended!

  Pleasant and highly comfortable stay nearby the beach and pool and with supportive staff

  Liked: The location was great. Very close to the pool with a great restaurant. The room was very well equipped and the air conditioner across the apartment made the stay very pleasant during the heat of August and with a 4 months old baby. The staff is very responsive and supportive in everything we needed. I lost my ring and they highly supported in finding it and shipping it. I highly recommend the stay!

Please note that there is an extra charge for the sun loungers and hammocks at the swimming pool.

Cleaning will only be offered once a week for more than 7 nights reservations.

This accommodations is on a "self-catering" basis, that is, accommodations only, so no supermarket products or food services etc. are provided, so the client must self-cater.

All our guests are welcome to use the common areas freely, although they may be required to pay a small fee if they make use of the terrace area and sunbeds. It is not allowed to access the pool with food from outside.
