  Liked: location, good value for money (modern little flat).

  Disliked: we were asked for a deposit (larger sum than that of a night's stay), which i thought was unpleasant and outdated (they had credit card info...), and the return of the money was not smooth and required exchanging a few messages and waiting a couple of days. also, i didn't see this info on booking.com website -- only buried at the end of a follow up message sent by the reception. we have to get the keys from a different hotel (300 meters away). not very good sound isolation.

  Liked: Great location. Temple of Diana is just around the corner. Other historic sites, shops and restaurants are within walking distance. Very quiet at night.

  Liked: Location in the center of Merida.

  Disliked: A bit tight in terms of space and basic kitchenware but did the job for a 1 night stay. Having to go to the hotel to pick up the keys was a bit inconvenient.
