  Lovely apartment but if you're travelling on a motorcycle I wouldn't recommend using the garage!

  Liked: The apartment is modern and quite spacious and located in a nicely refurbished and characterful building. Well equipped enough for a short stay, spotlessly clean throughout, a short walk away from the centre of Merida which is a very nice town worthy of a longer stay than our one night. The underground garage parking was a real bonus, especially as we were travelling on a motorcycle, BUT....................

  Disliked: The apartment is located on quite a steep hill on a narrow stretch of road with quite a lot of traffic passing by - the turn in to the garage is very tight and narrow, with uneven cambers and with quite a complicated set of instructions to gain access to both the apartment block and the garage, which made it almost impossible to negotiate with two people on a heavily laden motorcycle as the gradient and unevenness of the road made it very, very difficult and stressful to park up and gain access without ending up with the bike on the ground! We were fortunate to have two of us to deal with the situation + the help of a lady who was also trying to figure out how to get in - but to negotiate access on your own with a large motorcycle would be even worse and not be something that I would wish to tackle. Getting out wasn't so bad - wait for a gap in ttraffic and take a run at it leaving your passenger to deposit the keys and chase you down the street to a suitable parking space! Sadly, and for those reasons alone, we wouldn't stay here again unless we were on 4 wheels, not two.

  excellent location, comfortable. would stay there again

  Liked: Street noise was pretty loud, but the rooms had air conditioning, so it was possible to close windows at night.

  We would absolutely stay here again if we return to Mérida

  Liked: beautiful and comfortable accommodations! We really appreciated the helpful staff and the access to a washing machine for our clothes. The location was easy walking distance to everything we wanted to see.

  Unpleasant experience

  Liked: Location is good, instructions from property management are informative and clear

  Disliked: No knives at the kitchen, and the stuff refused to provide it. Actually, you can’t use the kitchen without knives. Also, sink make a very loud noise for a long time after use - very unpleasant and uncomfortable.

  Lovely dtay

  Liked: Close to all the points of interest and very easy to park in the underground carpark. Excellent facilities, really big shower and great bed.

  Disliked: We booked the apartment as it had a washing machine but ironing facilities would be useful.
