  Clean, basic accommodation for a short stay

  Liked: Al Andalus is very close to the train station and close to Centro Historico. Our room faced a light well so was quiet. Once you have picked up the key card from Paula Films Hotel, which is close by, access is very straightforward. The shower is very good - spacious, good pressure and plenty of hot water. The bed was good even if one side was on a slight grade.

  Disliked: The room is small and the bathroom even smaller. Once you get out of the shower there is no room to dry yourself and the toilet is badly positioned. However the main problem is an oversized vanity taking up the space. Overly plump European pillows are a problem for some. A mix would be good. The breakfast is very basic. We would rather pay a little more for a better breakfast. And considering that, there is no kettle or tea and coffee in the room. Refrigerator in the room is only ‘cool’ with no control. The WiFi does not work.

  Liked: Very central location. It's by a busy road but you can't have everything for this price.

  Disliked: The AC is some unbranded thing so it behaved a bit erratically. I got woken up more than once because it was cooling down to 22 degrees! (Set at 28)
