  Great stay in Mojacar Pueblo

  Liked: The location was superb with fantastic views, the apartment was in good condition and very clean with everything we required, good communication with the landlords.

  Disliked: Was a little difficult to find and could do with a sign on the outside with the apartment name. Bed and pillows was a little hard for us

  Paid for 4 nights, unable to stay due to access issues

  Liked: Nothing. We didn’t get to experience the property. Having booked 2 nights via Booking.com (couple and 2 dogs) and a further 2 nights extension privately, we finally arrived at the suggested parking space having driven 3 times round Mojacar trying to follow the directions. At this point we realised there are about 100 steps up from there to the front door and then another flight of steps down from the front door to the living area 🤦‍♀️. My husband has a heart condition and getting our luggage and dogs up was just not possible…neither was going up and down to our car every day! I put the key back in the lockbox, messaged the owner and we left, having to find alternative accommodation.

  Disliked: The owner wasn’t remotely sorry that we found the access unacceptable. He merely pointed out that he didn’t say it was suitable for anyone with restricted mobility! I did ask if a refund of the privately paid nights may be possible…especially when I realised he had released those 2 nights as “available” on booking.com, having already pocketed our money! I got €20 refunded - the extra I had paid for the pets charge!

  Would be great once the weather warms up

  Liked: Lovely view from balcony. Unfortunately the weather wasn’t conducive to sitting outside

  Disliked: It was pretty cold the days we stayed. There are small wall heaters but they didn’t really warm the property up. They have got a couple of blankets which did help. Make sure you don’t follow Google Maps… it’ll take you on a Merry dance…. Not to the property!!
