  Disappointing

  Liked: Morella is a nice town and is well positioned if you want to explore the area by car. The castle is worth a visit, but be aware there are lots of steps.

  Disliked: The apartment was a bit shabby - the handles for the fridge and freezer were broken off and some of the trim of the kitchen cupboards was coming off. The kitchen was poorly equipped and needs some money spent to bring it up to a reasonable standard. It was a disappointing. Parking in Morella is difficult unless you are prepared to pay in one of the many car parks that surround the town. We found a spot where we could park for free, which was a 10 min walk to the apartment, with lots of steps. You can get a car to the front of the apartment, but it is through small streets with a bit of reversing as you can't turn outside the apartment. We stayed for three days in Morella, two would have been enough.
