Exceptional
We had a wonderful stay all round
Liked: The property is quite stylish and in a fantastic location near the cathedral in the historic centre of Ourense. Our host was extremely helpful giving us excellent indications for things to do and places to eat. He even offered to bring us back the next day the hiking sticks we had forgotten in the apartment.
Disliked: Nothing

Liked: Location was excellent. The apartment was comfortable.
Disliked: We left 3 days early and moved to a hotel. The tenant above us had heavy steps and walked around their apartment until 2am one night and midnight the other two. We notified the manager, who contacted their landlord so it was quiet for one evening. But then the next, it was the same. So we left.
Liked: Our stay was very enjoyable, and we commend Jose Antonio for his exceptional creativity and eye for detail to put together such a wonderful flat. He proved to be an outstanding host. Despite our delayed check-in, he kindly extended an offer for us to stay an additional day without any extra charge. Furthermore, he consistently checked in with us to ensure our satisfaction, that we had ample supplies, and that our towels and sheets were clean. This is indeed a superb place to stay. We definitely award five stars!
Liked: The location is quiet, but really close to all the action at the Praza Maior. The bed is super comfy, and the kitchen had all the amenities of home.
Disliked: The only thing I'll say is that, like many Spanish apts, it's hard to get it nice and toasty. They do provide a couple of soft throw blankets, but I would bring a sweater.
It was a disaster and the owner was unsympathetic
Liked: We booked a 5 night stay in this shabby apartment that looks better in the photos than in person. The first 3 days there was construction in the other tourist apartment above. On day 4 we had to evacuate because of the nauseating smell of varnish. We were on the street for 2 hours with luggage and food that we bought to make dinner and lunch. They took us to a dumpy hotel with no kitchen or living room for the last 2 nights. No refund. No empathy. They knew what was going on upstairs but booked us anyway. We are in the process of reclaiming money through booking because the owner is not answering our messages to find an amicable solution. We should be compensated for the food lost, if we needed to be moved, it should be to a similar place with similar amenities. We paid for an apartment that is livable, and the hotel was far from that, a cheap budget hotel.
Disliked: The property itself is not in good condition, there were no salt or pepper or adequate utensils to cook with. The shower leaks water all over the bathroom floor. The sofa is a cheap and overused futon. There is no closet space.
