Old town

The old centre is laid out around the cathedral of San Martiño and the Praza Maior, with its arcades and the town hall. A few steps away the Burgas spring up, the hot springs that made the city famous. In the narrow streets around them is the wine quarter, with taverns serving Ribeiro and pinchos as evening falls. If you are coming for a weekend of strolling and tapas, staying here puts everything close at hand.
