Excellent swimming pool. hotel a little remote and a little tired but excellent for stopover

Liked: Arrived on motorcycles on a very hot day. Hotel was very cool inside and staff friendly. The large swimming pool with life guard in attendance was very welcome and just what we needed after a long ride. Evening meal was good and breakfast was good too. Rooms where clean and good size.

Disliked: Hotel seem a little tired and quite remote. Probably built for conferences but great for one night in beautiful Galicia.

  Disappointing

Liked: Room size was good, so as location.

Disliked: When a guest filters for “Air Conditioning,” especially during the European summer, there is a reasonable expectation that the room will have functional air conditioning available when it is actually needed: at night, while sleeping. If the system operates only during limited hours or is intentionally turned off overnight, that is not a minor detail. It is material information that should be clearly disclosed before a reservation is confirmed and payment is processed. After already losing €152 earlier the same day because another property advertised air conditioning that did not exist, I drove to Exe Auriense hoping to finally get a good night’s rest. Instead, after checking in and unpacking, I learned that the air conditioning is turned off at night. What should have been the end of a long travel day became another exercise in frustration, disappointment, and uncertainty. The financial loss hurts, but the greatest loss is one that no hotel or booking platform can ever reimburse: the experience.
