  Overall, a good base for an active mountain holiday, with room for improvement in the apartment itse

  Liked: The apartment has good potential and Escarrilla is a beautiful base for exploring the Pyrenees, especially if you plan to spend most of your time outdoors hiking, kayaking or enjoying the mountains. The management was responsive and helpful when issues were raised. Escarrilla itself is a lovely location, although local infrastructure is limited, with relatively few supermarket and restaurant options.

  Disliked: We reported a number of maintenance issues directly to the management and hope they will be addressed for future guests. The two main areas that need improvement are cleanliness and the lack of Wi-Fi. Mobile coverage is weak, so having no internet connection can be quite inconvenient. The pillows were also not very comfortable.

  Liked: Lovely little apartment. Great for a central stay to visit surrounding areas.. couple of nice bars in the area great staff...

  Disliked: The only issue we had was the boiler.... could hardly sleep with it kicking in 30 seconds later kicking out.. maintenance man came out. Basically said it was normal. But it so wasn't!!... So at night in order to get a decent sleep we had to turn it off. Which meant apartment got cold. Was a stain on mattress protector... which I noticed when I stripped the beds. Which made me feel slightly sick. Knowing id been sleeping on it. Ive made them aware and hopefully this will be sorted for next guests!! Just found it a little cheeky in the rules if u dont clean they will charge u 70e..!!!

  Exceptional

  Liked: We wanted a quiet stop over in the Pyrenees Mtns after 3 weeks of travelling Europe. The accommodation was great. It is off-season re skiing, so it was very quiet. Great apartment that had everything we needed. Comfortable. Firm bed. Washing machine. Great customer service prior to and on check in. Thank you.

  Clean, well appointed apartment in the Pyrenees

  Liked: Great central mountain location near to many hikes and places to visit. Sitting room and laundry handy for us mid trip.

  Disliked: Not really enough support for self catering - no washing up brush, no tea towel so even though the kitchen was otherwise well equipped it was a bit difficult to tidy up.
