Exceptional
Stunning hotel with gorgeous rooms and garden
Liked: The location of the hotel is stunning and the gardens are really beautiful. It is a very calm, relaxing, private and tranquil place. The room we were assigned was lovely with air conditioning, fully equipped kitchen with some teas and coffees, and a fridge. Towels you can use at the pool (which is huge and wonderful, better than the photos) or the beach. Great sheets with recommendations and Brigitte was very helpful with recommendations for restaurants and beaches.
Disliked: A lot of restaurants require booking beforehand (for lunch and dinner) which I was surprised about. Also, some of the coves (calas) require booking for the parking, which was really tricky! This isnt a comment relating to the hotel obviously, more about the region.

Liked: delicious breakfast with fruit grown in their garden and excellent coffee.
Disliked: some of the upholstery was not as clean as it could have been.

Peaceful & beautiful place to relax
Liked: We had a lovely stay at El Botanico. The place is so spacious, calm and with so many beautiful big pine trees, palms, bougainvillea flowers and other plants and gorgeous mountain views. The pool is big and wide, so a good size for proper swimming. It is also great to have your own kitchen to make food in and a lovely private terrace for sitting out. Catherine is an also a lovely, kind host. Would highly recommend!
