Unhealthy, unhabitable, unsafe and unsecure!

Disliked: The holiday home did not meet the minimum rental standards for health, habitability, safety and security. ‘Casa Dario' is a damp and moldy property. Mold is present in all rooms, especially in the bedrooms, where the pungent odor of mold is overpowering. The mattresses smell of mold. The walls and ceilings are affected by mold and moisture. The moisture from the ceiling undoubtedly comes from rainwater seepage from the poorly maintained roof. The wooden closets in the bedrooms smell of mold, making it impossible to store clothes there. The same applies to the upstairs bathroom. There's mold and moisture in the kitchen cabinets and oven. We washed the dishes but couldn't put them away, because they would come out smelly. The extractor hood wasn't working at all. After reporting this, you didn't take any action to replace it. There's no ventilation in the house, yet there were three gas cylinders and two burners inside for heating. This is completely unsafe. Gas cylinders shouldn't be inside a house, but outside. Burning gas without adequate ventilation poses a significant risk of carbon monoxide poisoning. There were no carbon monoxide detectors or smoke alarms. There was no evacuation plan or indication of exits and emergency exits. The house did not meet the minimum rental standards.

Liked: We absolutely loved our stay here. Wish we could stay longer. The house is beautiful, spotless, spacious, comfortable. All the facilities you need and more. The garden is beautiful. So relaxing. Hosts very accommodating and helpful. The location is peaceful yet not far from amenities. We would love to return.
