Fabulous
Liked: Very good location for the beginning of adventures in Picos de Europa

Unusual, characterful, and charming
Liked: Wonderful location in a narrow gorge with just the road, river, and, squashed against the rock face, the hotel. So close to the rock that you could touch it from some of the windows! Clean, comfortable and welcoming. For dinner we had an excellent, set priced menu, three courses and a glass of wine. It was all delicious and exceeded our expectations. Breakfast was also good. There is nowhere else, nearby, to eat, so it is fortunate that the food at the hotel is good. Staff were always busy. The front of the hotel was constantly being swept to keep it clean and welcoming.
Disliked: We only stayed for two nights and we loved it but it is quite remote and approached by a longish (but very dramatic scenically) road. Might be quite a tedious journey every day for a week.

Liked: It was clean, comfortable, quiet, and in a great location! The staff were very helpful and attentive. I would definitely stay here again!

Liked: Location is perfect for hiking and driving around. Beautiful surroundings. The room is clean and comfortable, though simple, but this is a hostel. The breakfast - standard continental. The best were the toasts.. you can have a dinner in their restaraunt. That was helpful.
Disliked: No one except one guy knows even a few words in English. They do not take money for dinner or other purchases., but instead add it to your room. When we were leaving we wanted to pay the bill, but the girl at reception said we owe nothing. Afterwards we made an attempt to pay by phone with a card, but transaction was declined by credit card. Make sure you pay before leaving.

Liked: Friendly very helpful staff. Perfect location to start Rio Cares Gorge walk. Comfortable bed. Hot water. Clean Great beer in the bar.
Disliked: Bit of noise early in morning with some guests leaving very early and not being thoughtful of others. Breakfast was fine. In the evening it would have been great to have lots of vegetable options with the meat and chip options.
