Liked: Location
Disliked: Wi fi not working Noisy heating system Uncomfortable bed-one pillow for two people, awful.
Liked: Our double room made for a comfortable stay and for a good start point before hiking in the Picos de Europa! Comfy bed, warm shower, great views from the bedroom window (before the clouds descended)! Breakfast included was a bonus.
Disliked: A bit of confusion over service at breakfast - wasn't clear we were to be served as the set-up was more self-service. Not an issue but could be made more clear
The stay was good however, the experience was not as worth the money they charge
Liked: Pros: 1. The breakfast in the hotel was quite good. The staff was also helpful and they served the the same with a full heart and lovely smile in the morning. 2. The rooms were also cleaned everyday and towels replaced. 3. The location of the hotel is quite good as well and faces the mountains giving mesmerizing views in the morning. However, beware the direction to reach is quite difficult especially if you have a car. There is a narrow road that leads steep up to the hotel that cuts adjacent from the main road. 4. They have a WhatsApp service however, they reply quickly to all the queries.
Disliked: Cons: 1. The hotel room was having just very basic facilities and infrastructure such as old wardrobe with broken handles, old bed and chairs. 2. The ventilation in the room was quite poor as the hotel staff as well didn't had any fan (no air conditioning as well). We had to open windows during the night but that also didn't serve the purpose because it was too hot and it felt a bit uncomfortable having a ground floor room with windows opened at night. 3. There is no physical reception after a certain time in the day. So be prepared in advance to receive a WhatsApp message for instructions to get the keys of the room and chat on the same with them for anything.
Comfortable stay in a magnificent setting
Liked: The location is beautiful with close views of the Picos. The room was very comfortable and the breakfast was good.
Disliked: The hotel is difficult to find. It’s up a small road from the main throughway, but not signposted. Be prepared to receive a message for auto check-in. There was no one at the reception when we arrived, but the instructions by phone were very clear.
Liked: Nice overall, friendly staff
Disliked: There was a horse on the nearby yard doing mischievous noises during the night: bring earplugs:)
Ok if you're on a hiking holiday and not looking for luxury
Liked: Breakfast was unexceptional and staff a bit abrupt
Disliked: Better choice at breakfast
