  A stunning property in a beautiful location

  Liked: Beautiful setting in a very scenic location, In a quiet hamlet. The conservatory is stunning and the inside of the hotel is full of genuine pieces from the past. The staircase up to the rooms is beautiful and attention to decor is wonderful. The owner was extremely helpful and gave us lots of information to go exploring the villages and towns nearby.

  Perfection after a month of varied food and accommodation

  Liked: A score well above 10 would still not do justice to this idyllic accommodation. It was like stepping into a stately home.. Antiquity alongside modernity. The host and her family are so welcoming. Breakfast is enjoyed on a terrace overlooking the countryside. Room 1 was spacious with great views. The man of the house keeps an immaculate garden and is happy to share his thoughts and the fruits of his labour. Maybe because it was the summer vacation from university we were fortunate to be served by two of Maribel's charming daughters.

  Disliked: This is not a criticism, but the speed of breakfast delivery was overwhelming. First, cereal and a drink, pause, chat, take in the view. Then Tostada, relax let the food go down, then wait for the pancakes or brownies. Life in the countryside for us is tranquil, rather than everything appearing at once. But what tastes!! And there is no rush to vacate the table. A suggestion not a criticism.
