Exceptional
Charming, convenient, comfortable and clean!
Liked: It is a very charming old building and right in Arenas de Cabrales so really convenient. There was parking in the streets around the house. It was spotlessly clean and though we could hear some noise from other rooms it was very quiet. Really cute and nicely decorated. Bathroom was great and plenty of hot water. When I had questions the staff replied quickly but I never saw any of them.
Disliked: There was a bidet but it did not work, and there was a hairdryer but it also did not work- I tried plugging it into every power outlet in the room but it would not turn on. So I went out with wet hair. Not a big deal but would have been nice if it had worked!
Liked: Very nice place. Lovely building with comfortable rooms. Great views over the town. Self catering kitchen available Short walk to town and restaurants
Charming historical villa
Liked: The property is a beautiful historical building located on a charming street in Arenas. It has a beautiful garden, where one can enjoy some relaxing moments or have dinner. There are free parking spaces around and we could always find a place. Also, the host was very friendly and quickly answered all our questions on WhatsApp.
Disliked: There was little storage space on our room (a large wardrobe but without shelves) so the room got crowded. Also, there was no breakfast available, though the host indicated a bistro nearby where one could have breakfast from 07:30. We cooked our own breakfast in the end, since the property has a fridge and all utensils needed.
Great stay in Arenas
Liked: Great location. Comfortable accomodation - we had room 23 which had a bathroom was spacious and had a great view. There was also a sitting room just outside the room so felt almost part of the one space. Really close to town. Thoroughly recommend this place.
Disliked: Nothing really. The refrigerator was perhaps a bit small for the potential number of guests but we had only 4 rooms so there was enough. Perhaps also an area to put your non refrigerator things rather than having to carry to your room.
We loved our stay at Casa Arenas. The house is large with various places to relax outside your room, both inside and out
Liked: The relaxed feel, outdoor setting for the evenings, good cooking & coffee facilities, close proximity to town, and free parking.
Disliked: The shared bathroom, but that is the price to pay for a lovely economical stay.
