Liked: Peaceful rural location. Very friendly couple running the Pousada. As a frequent traveler I hardly ever rate a property with a 10 but this special place absolutely deserves it.

Liked: Location was quiet and peaceful. Swimming pool was a real treat (and still open in September). Friendly helpful owners who ran the hotel. Good home-cooked dinners. Traditional furnishing, giving an alpine lodge feel. Free wi-fi
Disliked: Bathroom was a little dated. Breakfast was rather bread heavy for me.

Liked: Wonderful stay in this family run property where everything was done with a smile. Service excellent, room very comfortable, evening meals outstanding - full of flavour (sautéed green beans in tomato sauce was exceptional) and much of the produce home grown and prepared by the owners, complemented with local wines. The whole family pulled together to offer an incredible service rich experience.

Incredible views and food, but it was the hosts that made this a memorable stay
Liked: The property itself was lovely and in a great location. Surrounded by hills and mountains. Great views everywhere you looked.
Disliked: There really wasn’t anything to dislike but if we HAD to pick something- We rented one of the apartments and we couldn’t park our car directly outside the property. It was a short walk up a moderate incline with our luggage, it really wasn’t a problem.
