  Liked: The location is great with amazing views. Close to Lagos de Covadonga and Poncebos for hiking. Very easy check in and welcoming host! Great to be able to cook dinners

  Beautiful stay near Picos de Europa

  Liked: Everything considering price paid and beautiful views. Shared kitchen facilities worked well with large fride-freezer provided. Communal spaces all good. Loved the breakfasts included in the price. Marta was a great hostess and we much appreciated her helpful advice on restaurants, walks in the Picos and other places to visit en route to Santander.

  Disliked: We didn't self-cater so the distance to restaurants and their late opening times was a disadvantage. Much better to bring your own dinners if you can.

  Liked: Marta was very helpful with information about places to visit.

  Disliked: Very noisy guests at night didn't let us sleep. No soap in the bathroom and no toilet brush. Scarce breakfast.

  Great stay in a wonderful location

  Liked: The self check-in is very easy and convenient as you are sent the keybox code on beforehand and can arrive at any time you like. There also is private parking available so no need to worry about that either. The room is not that big but it is clean and has blackout curtains which is nice. The location of this hotel is wonderful. The views are amazing and you have a nice lounge outside where you can enjoy the views. Inside there also are some common areas: a living room and a kitchen, which is convenient if you want to cook something yourself. Breakfast was basic but okay. Marta was really nice and told us about the hikes and must sees in Picos de Europa. We thought Valle la Fuente was the perfect base to explore the northern area of Picos de Europa.

  Disliked: A few minor things that didn't really bother us: * the room is rather small, but it was more than okay for us * the TV turned on unexpectedly multiple times * a toilet brush in the bathroom would've been nice * the road leading to the hotel is rather narrow, but very doable, especially as there are almost no other cars.
