  Luxurious quiet property, perfect for families

  Liked: Where to start. Villa Ariome is a new build. The hosts thought of everything. There were nice touches throughout the house. A coffee machine with pods. A selection of teas. Bottles of wine too. Dealing with Issues and queries was easy and responses were quick and efficient. The property location was within walking distance of shops and amenities. The area is quiet and was exactly what we wanted. There's a gated car port for you rental car. There's a small gym a good sized leisure pool 2 outside seating areas. The property is secure and luxurious.

  Disliked: Exiting the car port is a close squeeze and took careful maneuvering. It was necessary to reverse down the lane as the lane very narrow and I was not confident of doing a 3 point turn in a rental. These are small complaints of which the owners have no control.

  Perfect, we would highly recommend staying here. Host was very helpful and was quick to answer any questions we had

  Liked: Everything. The villa was spotless everywhere, everything was working perfectly. We cannot find a fault with anything.

  Disliked: Nothing. We would recommend getting a car if staying for a decent period of time as it could be a long walk in the heat and a lot of up hill from the main marina.

  Nothing we didn't like

  Liked: Swimming pool was good, hor tub was good. Layout downstairs stairs with the open doors, lovely. Everything you needed. Alicia who owned the property was really helpful

  Ok! Could have been a lot better

  Liked: The property was very clean and pool nicely heated. Dining area stunning with bifold doors and outdoor table and chairs lovely.

  Disliked: Very disappointed! All beds are very uncomfortable. Pocket door in 2nd double bedroom stuck open. Cannot close it. Decor not as bright and fresh as photos insinuate. Needs painting. Staging on photographs very clever. Items around the villa are used in different rooms to make it look nicer than it is. All outdoor plants are plastic and are all old and falling apart. Often finding bits of them in garden blowing around. Kitchen items missing like scissors and fish slice. Knifes are horrendous. Kettle been replaced with cheapest possible option. Takes forever to boil. Barbecue utensils non existent. Had to use kitchen tongs. Parasol outside was left in corner of garden. I can lift 100kg but struggled to move and put up the parasol as it’s broken. We had to wedge it in its stand as the stand is rusty and bolts cannot be tightened to hold it in. It needs replacing. Outdoor sofa unusable as no cushions for it and is too hard to sit on. Hot tub jets don’t work properly. Glass blown in sliding doors living area. Front door rattles in wind. As do windows in all bedrooms. There’s actually gaps in the windows in bedrooms. Very noisy area. Dogs barking a lot and neighbours attached kept us up a lot in the night banging furniture around and arguing. Got woken up 3 times in the early hours of morning to man banging on doors and shouting to be let in. Locals living here not holiday makers. No information in the villa on anything at all. I’ve never stayed in a villa where local taxis, Doctors, restaurants etc are not left for you. Just a list of rules. We have stayed in villas for over 20 years and in Lanzarote many times. We don’t leave bad reviews but felt that this villa really does need attention for the money it costs to stay here. We had to purchase cushions from a local store to put on the loungers so we had somewhere comfortable to lay. Agree with previous review that a lot of the furniture seems like toy town furniture.

  Fantastic villa for a family of 6!

  Liked: Clean, well kept villa in a good location. Owner was very responsive when we had a question or issue. Pool and hot tub were great!

  Disliked: Getting the car in and out was sometimes difficult as neighbours often parked on access road.

  Ideal for a family but no sandy beaches close by

  Liked: We had some issues with the pool temparature and a bedroom door. The maintenance people came within a few hrs and sorted out both very well. The pool and jacuzzi are ideal with a family. The gym is also very good and we made use of that during our stay. Area was quiet and only a 20min walk to the marina. 2 bathrooms both with showers is ideal. The property felt very secure with electric gates as access.

  Disliked: We stayed for 9 days and no cleaning of the pool and hot tub was carried out. Some new curtains in the dining area are advised as the current ones are old and broken. A few more pots/pans in kitchen is recommended.
