  A spoiled holiday

  Liked: The villa was very well equipped. There was soft drinks, bread, milk, water, beer etc on arrival which was helpful.

  Disliked: On arrival there were 3 workmen working in the flat roof next door...which directly overlooked the pool. The noise was incredibly loud as,they were vutting stone. We were also concerned as we had our 2 young granddaughters arriving in couple of days. The managers eventually got them to leave, but they arrived the next day. Again, the managers eventually got them to agree to come back on our departure. However it was a,very disruptive beginning and end (as they returned on our last day) to our holiday. The table tennis table was really dirty...covered in a thick layer of what looked like sand, so we didnt use it. However, the villa itself was clean. Our main gripe was that we had to pay a 300euro deposit..we have been staying in villas in Playa Blanca for over 20 years, at least once a year, and we have never had to pay a deposit before. On leaving, We stripped all the beds, washed all the towels (there was 6 of us) and folded them neatly in piles. We left the place very clean and tidy, as we always do when staying in someone elses property. The only mistake i made was i used the coffee filter machine on our last morning, as we had run out of pods. Because we'd been using the pod machine, i just cleaned the glass coffee pot by hand, carefully ( they claimed we broke it) but i forgot to take out the coffee granules before putting back in the cupboard. But as soon as we returned home we were bombarded with photos of things we had supposedly broken! Some of which were photos of things none of us even recognised! One was the air con unit in a bedroom we didnt even use!!! Half way through the holiday the washing line broke...we immediately contacted them to tell them....if we had broken anything else...why would we not do the same. I feel that yes, they left us with supplies, but they paid for those supplies with our deposit which we didnt get back.

  Really nice

  Liked: Very quiet, lots of small everyday items and a welcome pack more than enough if you arrive late. Very clean and tidy. Quick response from owner and good information. Private enough for us

  30th anniversary heaven

  Liked: The housekeeper is the most beautiful soul I ever met. Facilities were amazing with lots of thoughtful extras. Kitchen appliances, teas, coffees, milk, water, cookies all gratefully received after an evening check in. Bathrooms stocked with toothpaste and feminine hygiene products. Everything needed for home away from home. Pool and privacy also top notch, with host Tony ensuring pool kept spotless throughout visit. Air con was good value.

  Disliked: Beds could have been slightly comfier.

  Excellent!! Will definitely stay again

  Liked: Tony and Vania were amazing! The Villa was spotless on arrival and they had all facilities you could need from toothpaste to hair straighteners to baby baths. Aldi was a few minutes walk away so we did our shops there. Everything was very well explained and Tony gave a ramp for the wheelchair user to get down the very small step out to the pool.

  Disliked: We didn’t walk to town as it was too far with the wheelchair user and kids but they provided a taxi number which was brilliant and meant we could get wheelchair taxis easily to town

  Poor service

  Liked: Not much

  Disliked: Very poor service from property hosts. We arrived late at night (2200hrs) and had advised in advance of our arrival, but they still weren't at the villa when we arrived, we had to call them to find out where they were to get keys to access the property with our 3 young children. The cleanliness was OK, but not great. Departure was also very poor. Hosts sent a neighbour from an adjoining property to retrieve the keys as the hosts were away. They then deducted money from our 200 euro deposit, which they demand in cash upon arrival, for items they claim were soiled (a bedsheet with a small coffee stain) or broken ( tiny outdoor plant pot), which we dispute, however 2 weeks after returning home they still have not returned ANY of the deposit. Very poor service all round. Avoid if you can. RESPONSE TO OWNER - so instead of accepting an honest, but critical, review, they seek to blame the customer and accuse them of lying - tells you all you need to know about them. Like I said initially, avoid if you can, or be prepared to part with your deposit and get accused of lying in the process. Disgusting conduct.

  Relaxing and very comfortable stay at a wonderful and well equipped villa

  Liked: Spacious, private, very quiet, wonderful outside facilities: kitchen, warm swimming pool; clean, attention to details. Care and attention by the owners.
